Spokane Spartans Stun League Leaders!

The Spokane Spartans bounced back from a disappointing loss the previous week with a strong team performance, defeating the previously unbeaten Salem Supernovas by 16 runs in an exciting match last weekend.
Batting first, the Spartans posted 199 all out in 40 overs. Contributions came from throughout the lineup, with Bilal Hasan top-scoring with 36, while several batters made useful starts to keep the scoreboard moving. An additional 49 extras also played a key role in helping the Spartans set a challenging target of 200.
In reply, the Salem Supernovas were bowled out for 183 in 39.1 overs despite a determined 61 from the young player, Hriday Bharath. The Spartans' bowling unit kept the pressure on throughout the chase, with Rishi, Param, and Dhruv picking up two wickets each, supported by disciplined spells from the rest of the attack, with Sankar, Rahat, and Wasil getting one wicket each.
The win was especially impressive as the visiting Salem Supernovas, featuring a talented squad with many young teenagers, arrived as the unbeaten league leaders.
