June 11th: Deserved Win
Rishi led the attack with a superb 4/20 in 6 overs.
Sankar was outstandingly economical, taking 2/13 in 6 overs.
Glen added 1 wicket while keeping the scoring in check.
Rahat claimed 2 key wickets in the closing overs.
Dhruv, Param, Wasil, and Sudheer bowled disciplined spells to maintain pressure throughout.
A complete team bowling performance that kept the opposition under pressure from start to finish by restricting them to 151.
Param anchored the chase with a superb 60 off 64 balls, striking 3 fours and 4 sixes.
Sankar provided a steady start with 19, sharing a crucial partnership with Param.
Dhruv remained unbeaten on 32, calmly guiding the chase to the finish.
Bilal added a composed 11 not out to support the winning stand.
Spokane Spartans chased down 152 comfortably with 6 wickets in hand, thanks to disciplined batting partnerships and smart shot selection throughout the innings.
June 18th Game: Close Loss
Sankar kept things tight, claiming 1 wicket while applying consistent pressure through the innings.
Dhruv impressed with 2 wickets, including the crucial final breakthrough.
Glen delivered an economical spell, picking up 2 key wickets in the middle overs.
Rahat and Param chipped in with 1 wicket each, ensuring regular breakthroughs.
A disciplined all-round bowling effort from the Spokane Spartans restricted BST to 163/8, with every bowler contributing to keep the scoring under control.
Dhruv, the vice-captain, fought a lone battle with a resilient 63 off 78 balls till the end, keeping the chase alive with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
Bhagat made a cautious 12, while the rest of the top order struggled against disciplined bowling.
Rishi added 10, but regular wickets prevented any lasting partnerships.
Pavan and Ali provided brief support, but the required momentum never came.
Spokane Spartans were bowled out for 140, falling 27 runs short despite Dhruv's determined half-century.
June 25th Game: Tough Defeat
Captain Paramjot Heer led from the front with a gritty 89 off 98 balls, keeping the Spartans in the fight when the chase looked tough from the start.
Despite the Spartans being short-handed with just nine players today and missing both regular openers and a key bowler, Param led by example and anchored the innings brilliantly.
He never stopped competing, finding boundaries when he could and holding one end together despite wickets falling around him.
It wasn't the result the Spartans wanted, but Param's knock was a great example of leading by example and fighting until the very end.
Despite a tough day on the field today and slipping from #2 to #6 on the points table, Spartan fans have plenty to be proud of. It's not just about where we finished, but about where we started and everything this group accomplished together along the way.
The season began with nearly five experienced players unavailable due to injuries, illness, relocation, family commitments, and other personal reasons. It was far from an ideal start, but as they say, the show must go on.
The team had to adapt quickly to a change in leadership, welcome new faces into the squad, and navigate plenty of uncertainty. It wasn't an easy road, but the players embraced the challenge and continued to represent the Spartan spirit every time they stepped onto the field. Every contribution mattered, and together they built a season the Spartans can be proud of. Some emerged as genuine game-changers, others quietly played their part whenever the team needed them, and some took their performances to another level.

Not every contribution is reflected in the stats. Many individuals stepped in, supported the team in different ways, and helped make this season what it was. A special mention to the silent contributor, Sai Pratap, who made multiple trips to Pullman—even while recovering from knee surgery—to fulfill the club's umpiring commitments for WSU matches.
Then there's the work that rarely makes the headlines—the countless hours behind the scenes that keep the club running year after year- the club officers, selection committee, practice coordinators, mentors and motivators, and, above all, the families of our Spartan players who adjust their weekends to support the team.
