Extreme weather but the Spartans rocked

On a rainy, cold day, battling a chill breeze and balling a wet ball on slippery grass is not ideal for playing cricket. Spartan bowlers faced challenges and added 38 runs (extras) to the opponents' score. It seemed like an excuse to make a day game and give themselves some batting opportunity when the visiting team started tumbling down early on and were 25/5 due to an outstanding bowling spell by a seasoned fast bowler, Sankar (Sir Javagal Srinath of SPCC), but, as a matter of fact, the conditions were not at all favorable for both teams. Even the opponents struggled and gave 27 extra runs to the Spartans. The rain and the hail interrupted the game a few times, but it did not hamper the spirit that the Spartans were riding on after the last win. With only ten games this season, Spartans are committed to performing and making each one count, and they did just that today! After the early debacle of half the team, Param, the new captain, and Rishi, the all-rounder, batted patiently and tactically to secure the Spartans' victory. Gooooo Spartans!
