Another One in the Bag!

The ever-energetic wicketkeeper-batsman delivered a long-awaited innings. Sai displayed sharp captaincy by rotating nine bowlers strategically, keeping the game under control, and steering the team toward a comfortable and well-deserved win. He not only led the team but also top-scored with 53 runs, playing a key role in helping the Spartans set a target of 176.

Dhruv stepped in at 41/2 and made a significant contribution, just like in the previous match. With an all-round performance, he scored 37 runs, the second-highest in the innings, and also claimed 2 wickets. He bowled 5.4 overs and conceded just 8 runs, finishing with an economy rate of 1.41.

Wasil is in excellent form this season. As a middle-order striker, fielder, and bowler, he continues to deliver. He scored 18 runs off 17 balls, took 3 catches, and claimed 3 wickets. With 9 wickets to his name so far, he currently tops the division’s bowling charts and in the top player ranking stands 6th.

As usual, Rishi gave the Spartans a steady start with 19 runs and set the tone with the ball by taking the first two wickets. He also took a catch, bowled two maiden overs, and finished with an impressive economy rate of 2.33.

Jayesh, Sumeet, and Glen took a wicket each. Rahat scored 15 and grabbed a catch, while Ram bowled two solid overs and took one as well. Gaurava had a tough day with the bat but bowled three tidy overs at 3.67 economy.
Today's game was truly a team effort!
Ahmad Bahar, a 15-year-old from Afghanistan, was another highlight of today's game. He didn't get a chance to bat, but given his first game, his bowling spell was highly impressive. He bowled three overs, giving only 11 runs.
