Spartans' game was again firmly anchored by the ever-reliable Rishi—Mr. Stabilizer—who stepped in at one down with the score at 33 and held the innings together until the team had crossed the 133-run mark. Following a solid start by Gaurav (24), the partnership between Rishi (36) and Dhruv (46) was instrumental in keeping the required run rate in check, with valuable middle-order contributions from Sai (17) and Wasil (30) further strengthening the innings. The Spartans' batting innings stretched to a full four hours, aided significantly by the 42 extras conceded by the opposition—the second-highest contribution to the total of 214. The Spartans set a decent target on their home ground for the visiting Phantoms, requiring a run rate of 5.5 per over.

In their second innings, Rishi, the all-rounder, set the perfect winning tone for the Spartans by striking early—dismissing both Phantom openers, with the first wicket in his opening over and the second in the next. He was followed by Jayesh, who claimed a crucial wicket, putting an immediate stop to an explosive innings that had started to trouble the Spartans. The youngest Spartan, Rahat, struck in his very first over—just like in the previous match—almost sealing the victory with Phantoms 40/4 in their 10th over.

Eight Spartan bowlers took the field today, collectively wrapping up the game by restricting the Phantoms to 145. Spartans secured a solid 69-run victory. Jayesh had an impressive 8-over spell, taking three wickets with an excellent economy rate of just 3.38.

The standout performer and rightful Player of the Match was Wasil, who delivered an all-round masterclass—claiming four wickets with tight bowling and scoring a quickfire 30 runs off just 20 balls.
